THERMOSELECT © Copyright 11-2024 THERMOSELECT Facility in Mutsu / Japan Since April 1st, 2003, a Thermoselect plant is in commercial operation in Mutsu in the north of Japan. The plant is equipped with two thermal treatment lines and has a capacity of 140 tons per day. The plant operates on municipal solid waste (MSW) and has been built by a Thermoselect sub-licensee in Japan, Mitsubishi Materials Co. A gas engine power production facility is integrated into the plant, transforming the syngas efficiently into electrical power with two 1.2 MW engines.
